Connor Wood wanted his celebrity crush, Jennifer Lawrence , to acknowledge his existence. Unfortunately, she already had...and he'd missed it.

The stand-up comedian recently revealed his love for the actor to his Dancing with the Stars partner, Rylee Arnold . In an interview with BuzzFeed Celeb , Wood said he wanted a "Paige DeSorbo moment," who had "willed [Lawrence's acknowledgment] into existence."

For context, the Summer House star and Giggly Squad podcast co-host had expressed to Vanity Fair her desire for Lawrence "to one time publicly say, 'You know that Paige? She's kind of funny.'"

Lawrence, who recently joined Instagram, commented on the Vanity Fair video of DeSorbo, writing, "Paige desorbo has sick style. And she's funny too!"

"I just want just a little acknowledgment from Jennifer Lawrence that I'm funny, and then that's all I need," Wood explained .…
