There’s never a dull moment when it comes to the wild, wild world of Yellowstone .

We’re still a few weeks away from the series premiere of Paramount+’s Dutton Ranch , the hotly anticipated new series that continues the story of fan favorites Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser), but the behind-the-scenes drama is already ramping up. Series creator/showrunner Chad Feehan is leaving the show ahead of the series premiere and won’t be returning if Dutton Ranch is renewed for a second season.

Feehan’s exit, per Puck (h/t Variety ), is reportedly due to Taylor Sheridan, series stars Reilly and Hauser, and 101 Studios boss David Glasser being “unsatisfied” with his handling of the production.
