I moved into my current position three years ago and at first it was amazing. I was loving the work I was doing, it was energized and fun, even our clients my company works for were asking if I'd ever be interested in a position with them if it ever came up.

Fast forward to about the last year, it just feels like im either doing nothing the entire day or, if I am assigned any work, it is just mindless busy work nobody checks in on or follows up with after.

I feel like im unfulfilled and going nowhere fast. Not to mention it feels everyday like things aren't going to get any better.

Ive applied for other positions in the company but was instantly declined without an interview. Ive looked at other opportunities outside the company but nothing comes close to my current wage.

Should i just stay where I'm at, pump in time, do the go-nowhere tasks and just keep doing it till something happens? I just feel adrift and like im being paid to be useless... again, it sounds ideal on paper, I'm by no means trying to sound like I'm bragging or anything.
