Arch Manning is not only a fan of Jeremy Piven and multiple Emmy Award-winning show Entourage , but the two have a friendship.

Manning shared his admiration for Piven and the character, Ari Gold, that Piven plays on the show, and the advice he received from the 61-year-old actor this offseason when he took a few Longhorns teammates to see Piven's live comedy show.

"I went to one of his comedy shows this offseason with some guys on the team and he was hilarious," Manning said during media availability on Monday . "Got to talk to him before and we've kept up on the phone. He's hilarious. He's probably my favorite character in all of television, Ari Gold. Being able to pick his brain and being able to laugh is refreshing. He's a really nice guy."

Manning even revealed that his watching Entourage coincided with a hot streak for Texas during the 2025 season.
