King Charles III put aside royal formality on the second day of his Caribbean tour, joining a Junkanoo parade through Nassau with a pair of maracas in the colours of the national flag.
Wearing a suit and sunglasses, the King walked and danced with performers at the front of the carnival, which celebrates island life. Dancers in feathered headdresses and bright costumes were joined by cheering crowds on Wednesday (29 October).
He has spent just over two days meeting everyone from boxers and charity workers to the military and politicians.
The King is on a nine-day visit to the Bahamas, Guyana and Antigua and Barbuda.
