Ted Danson to play Elizabeth Banks’s father

As reported by Deadline , legendary actor Ted Danson has joined Elizabeth Banks’s untitled half-hour comedy series , which is set to start filming this year in Los Angeles.

The show, which also stars Rob Delaney ( Bad Monkey , Deadpool & Wolverine ), was created by Liz Heldens ( The Dropout ) and Matt Ward ( The Big Leap ), and will tell the story of Heidi (Banks), a recently-divorced woman who “sets out to secure a lively second act for herself and her kids”.
