Verlume, a world-leading specialist in intelligent subsea power, communications and control, has appointed Jay Parle as Head of Engineering, further strengthening the company's engineering capability as it continues to expand the deployment of its technologies across offshore oil and gas, offshore wind, and defense sectors.

Jay joins Verlume with more than 20 years of engineering experience spanning subsea controls, offshore renewables, carbon capture and storage, and nuclear energy. Throughout his career, he has led multidisciplinary engineering teams, developed complex engineering systems from concept through to commissioning, and delivered pioneering offshore projects in some of the world’s most demanding operating environments.
