Fenix Flexin is the latest battling AI allegations upon the release of song of the summer contender “Rubberz.” Even after posting his On the Radar performance of the Purps on the Beat-produced track on Instagram, Fenix still had doubters in the comments, claiming he was either using AI or the song did not feature his actual voice. One comment made reference to an interview in which Bootleg Kev played “Rubberz” for Blxst and echoed his claim that AI was not used. “No sirrrrrrr, recorded same as all music I do!" Fenix responded. "Only difference Is auto tune reverb and me using my fake uk accent lol.” In an interview with XXL earlier this year, Fenix disclosed his desire to switch up his sound, and “Rubberz” is evidence of that change in action.
