ankur608 published an Arduino library on GitHub for using the Adafruit 2.8″ TFT Touch Shield v2 with capacitive touch (PID 1947) on the Arduino UNO Q, specifically the arduino_uno_q_stm32u585xx core.

The shield routes SPI through the 6-pin ICSP header rather than pins 11 through 13. On the UNO Q’s STM32U585, those land on MOSI 23, MISO 22 and SCK 24, so the usual sketches do not work without remapping. The library handles that, sets up the FT6206 capacitive touch controller over I2C, and reduces the setup to a one-line call.

It also fixes the rotation problem. The FT6206 reports coordinates in portrait at 240 x 320. The library’s screen.getPoint() computes the transformation for whichever rotation is selected, so touch points match what is on screen. Installation is by cloning into the Arduino libraries directory or pointing the IDE at the Git URL, plus the core Adafruit driver dependencies. Examples appear under File, Examples. The license is MIT.
