Ahead of Grand Theft Auto 6 's preload early next month, I and many others have been wondering how much space to clear before it smacks into our collective hard drives with the force of a thousand suns. Triple-A games have been steadily ballooning in size, after all, partially to force other games off of your system and partially because devs don't seem to care much about compression anymore.

With that in mind, GTA 6 is both bigger and smaller than I was expecting. PlayStation Size, an account that specializes in datamining hidden information from PlayStation Store listings, has revealed that GTA 6 's download size will be a chunky 210 gigabytes.

For comparison, Red Dead Redemption 2 weighs in at about 120 gigabytes. With everything we've seen about Grand Theft Auto 6 and its ridiculous scale and detail, I was expecting double that amount at minimum, so hearing that it'll come in just under that mark is heartening.…
