For context i’m 24 lived alone in a different state for college and after year after college, i just moved back home to my parents (my job went remote and i wanted to save money) and im moving to chicago in March.

I want to solo travel to Europe for the first time and my parents are really against it. I’ve brought it up multiple times and they shut me down and i brought it up again yesterday (bc i need to book my plane ticket asap) and we talked and they are very still against it.

I know im 24 and I can do what i want, but im very close with my parents and their opinion means a lot to me. They said they cant stop me but I can’t help but feel so guilty for some reason.

I wouldn’t be able to be excited around them or talk about what my plans are bc they would be so worried and scared. Which i understand but im trying to show i really thought about this.…
