Halle Berry reportedly got handed down a mixed bag this week by the judge handling her custody case with ex-husband Olivier Martinez.

As first reported by TMZ on Thursday (Oct. 29), Martinez is said to have retained primary physical custody of the former couple’s 13-year-old son. The report quotes Martinez’s lawyer as calling the move a “huge victory” for his client, while a Berry rep is cited as pointing out that she still has joint legal custody. The issue of primary physical custody previously came up in tandem with a prior temporary restraining order request against Berry.

As for the mixed bag of it all, Thursday’s report notes that Berry was the victor when it came to those restraining order efforts from Martinez. In a statement shared with Page Six, a legal rep for Berry called the latest developments “a huge win” for the Oscar winner.
