I posted a couple of months back about a big thunderstorm and how a bunch of my electronics stopped working/broke during the storm. My old Nest (I think its a Gen 2) started giving this message: "No power to Rh wire"

HVAC person came and took a look at the thermostat and checked the wiring, and said "You are getting power" so he said the Nest must be broken. Since it was summer, I didn't rush to fix anything - I recently went and got a Honeywell X7B thermostat.

The HVAC person installed it (it uses a C wire) - and turned on the heat and the boiler came on and (after a while) I was getting heat.…
