People ask me what is it like to be autistic. For context, I am late diagnosed Lvl 1. I did not make up this answer but this is what I use. I tell them its like having a one runway airport in your brain. All day 100 airplanes are trying to land on that one runway at the same time. You are the air traffic controller and all the planes are talking to you on the same frequency at the same time. That is autism for me.
