Former NFL star Andre Rison is serving jail time after pleading guilty in a second-offense drunk driving case in Michigan .

According to court records, Rison was booked into the Oakland County Jail on Friday and is expected to be released Sunday after serving part of a five-day sentence handed down earlier this week.

The former wide receiver pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated in connection with an August 2025 incident in Troy, Michigan. As part of his sentence, Rison was also ordered to serve 18 months of probation and pay more than $2,300 in fines and court costs.

An additional charge alleging open intoxication in a motor vehicle was dismissed.

Rison initially posted a $5,000 bond while the case made its way through the courts.…
