I am currently a hotel receptionist and I am interested in going into the law field as a paralegal. I applied to a “legal assistant/case manager” position at a worker comp firm which to me with the job description seemed to be level entry friendly. I applied online and then next day I went in in person to introduce myself and hand my resume in. I did not expect to speak to the attorney. She sat me down and said she never has people come in person. I was a nervous wreck my legs were shaking I could barely think of anything to say. She asked me questions to which a few I answered confidently enough and others… interview goes pretty bad imo but she seems interested in talking to me and telling me about the firm.
