We’ve reached a crucial point in Love Is Blind Season 11: multiple couples are about to walk down the aisle and either (1) get married, or (2) break up in front of all their friends and family. And if they choose option two, there’s a big decision to make before they formally part ways: who gets to keep the engagement ring?
Production pays for the show’s fleet of sparkly rings, and couples aren’t required to return them if their engagements/marriages don’t work out. Considering these are diamonds (...we think?) worth thousands of dollars, you can see why the ring might cause drama. After all, whoever gets to keep it also gets to sell it and pocket a chunk of cash!
As creator Chris Coelen put it to Entertainment Weekly , “We supply them with the rings, and at that point, those rings are theirs. They never have to give them back if things don't work out. They're their rings.”
Netflix
Chris confirmed that they cost somewhere between $3,500 and $5,000. Not nothing!…
