Dumb question

Guide (Vanilla)

Why are my colonists not hauling this? I bought the game last night. Still learning. But I have a lot of granite and stone I’d like to collect and they never do it but haul other things like wood, steel, etc.

Create a stockpile zone where you want them to haul it. Disallow everything and allow only stone chunks.

Stone and steel chunks aren’t allowed by default in any stockpile zone. And most of the storage structures like shelves (all vanilla ones I think) can’t store them at all. Modded ones might be able though. Usually in the form of a specialized chunk storage.

They also have special properties like slowing pawns, providing cover and being completely indestructible (short of extreme methods that delete everything).…
