Something I keep noticing with small brands: they put real effort into short videos, the clip gets its views in the first day or two, and then it's basically gone. Nobody scrolls back through a brand's TikTok from three weeks ago.
Meanwhile the same videos are often the most convincing thing the brand has ever made. Real people, real product, real use.
The places I've seen them get reused:
- Cut down for Reels and Shorts, which is the obvious one
- Pinned or featured on the profile so new visitors see the best ones first
- In email, as a still frame that links to the clip
- On the website, next to the product the video is about
- As ad creative, since it already proved it can hold attention
For people running social for a brand: do you have an actual process for reusing your best clips, or does it happen when someone remembers? And which reuse has given you the most back for the least extra work?
