Jordan Brand’s celebration of the 30th anniversary of Space Jam is extending beyond the basketball court, with Taiwanese baseball star Chen Jiexian receiving his own player-exclusive version of the Air Jordan 11 cleats.

The special-edition footwear features the same matte purple upper seen on the upcoming retail Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” cleats , but with the spiked outsole tooling of Nike’s Alpha Huarache Elite baseball series, creating a hybrid that combines the iconic basketball silhouette with equipment designed specifically for the diamond.

The PE maintains the familiar shape of the Air Jordan 11, a sneaker famously worn by Michael Jordan during the Chicago Bulls’ historic 1995-96 season and featured prominently in the original Space Jam film.…
