Bangla is the language I want to investigate most deeply, with comparisons across other languages to keep the conclusions honest. The eventual test is both linguistic and practical: what can people do with the model, and what does it cost to run on a real device?

This is independent work, not a claim of Cohere affiliation or endorsement. As a Bangla speaker, I also want this work to address a language I use and care about.
