When engineering a real-time event tracking platform for mega-summits and enterprise exhibitions, standard web architecture paradigms completely break down.

At a typical Saudi Vision 2030 exhibition in Riyadh, it is common to process 10,000 delegates arriving within a narrow 45-minute ingress window. At this density, two critical infrastructure failures occur simultaneously:

Local Network Saturation: Convention center Wi-Fi suffers extreme packet loss, and local 5G macrocells congest.

Database Write Contention: If physical gate turnstiles rely on synchronous cloud API calls to validate a ticket and log attendance, remote database locks and TCP handshake delays cause physical queues to back up into the streets.

To guarantee zero-latency physical ingress while providing organizers with live capacity metrics, we had to decouple our edge hardware from the cloud entirely.

Here is how StampIQ architects an offline-first real-time event tracking platform capable of processing 400 RFID tag reads per second.
