Hi everyone! Over the last months I’ve been building my own smart home app connected to Home Assistant. What started as a personal dashboard slowly became something bigger: trying to make Home Assistant feel less technical and more like a real smart home product for everyday family use. My main focus has been: calm & low-noise UI large touch-friendly controls room-based experiences personalized profiles for each family member readability over information density and of course… the famous “wife approval factor” 😄 A lot of dashboards are optimized for showing as much information as possible. I intentionally went the opposite way: comfort, simplicity, atmosphere, and usability in real daily life. I’m now exploring the idea of making this portable so other HA users could install it too. At this stage I’d really love honest feedback from the community: What do you feel current HA dashboards are missing? What frustrates you most in daily use? Would you actually use something like this?…
