As spotted by WABetaInfo , the latest TestFlight build of WhatsApp includes references to a new feature that will let users view an AI-powered summary of unread messages across multiple chats.

Currently, the app offers an AI-powered summary of unread messages within each individual chat, with the entire summarization process being handled by WhatsApp ’s Private Processing system .

Now, according to WABetaInfo , the app is working on “a unified unread chat summary feature,” which will add a “Get a summary” button at the top of the Chats tab when the “Unread” filter is selected.
