Started working on it less than a week ago, this is my 3rd mod for Factorio (and 3rd mod ever :p) you can check my 2 other mods here .

Wanted to recreate as much Ark Aberration stuff in Factorio as possible while respecting Factorio limits, things I've done so far:

Forever night on all surfaces, wonder if it soft locks Space Age though (also found a nice mod to amplify this setting, Light Overhaul by Earendel )

A UV-light lamp, (like a Charge Lantern in Aberration :p) and..

A Corruption bar, goes up when you move away from UV, and down when you're back to UV (feels a little (a lot) like Dying Light 2 too - maybe cause I played it recently xD cough cough)

Next I'll make things happen as player ignores the Corruption just like in Aberration where nameless spawn and potentially a reaper when you stay in dark too much.

Later I'll make the UV light actually repel enemies, or repel some types of them, because so far the UV only lowers Corruption.
