To celebrate the start of the 2026 FIFA World Cup on Friday (June 12), New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani is dropping Brooklyn-made soccer jerseys at an affordable price. Designed by Arsh Raziuddin and produced in partnership with the family-owned Brooklyn apparel studio Mazzi Sports, the jerseys are set to feature the retro-inspired graphics featured in the city’s World Cup campaign, GQ reports . The limited run-jerseys feature bold “New York City” graphic, a small Pigeon, and a soccer ball. They come in three different colorways: black and white, black and yellow, and blue and orange. There will only be 1,500 of the jerseys available, 500 of each colorway, all produced by hand. It’ll set NYC soccer fans back just $50, roughly a third of what an Adidas or Nike World Cup Kit costs.
