Ross Kemp murdered in plain sight in Celebrity Traitors

Ross Kemp was the first faithful to be murdered in plain sight on this season of The Celebrity Traitors after falling victim to a trap set by Traitors Maya Jama and James Acaster.

The pair repeatedly yawned and complained about being tired in a bid to make their targets yawn. Kemp eventually succumbed, after which Acaster asked: “Sorry Ross, am I boring you?”

Discovering his fate in the diary room, the former EastEnders star quoted Shakespeare’s Hamlet , saying: “To thine own self be true!” He added that he had remained true to himself and the Faithful.

Kemp then sent a warning to the Traitors : “Well played traitors, but you’re always going to be traitors… and I know where you live!”

Jama later admitted she had loved Kemp as Grant Mitchell growing up, telling the diary room: “You just fell into the worst trap ever and I’m so sorry.”
