Are the surfers on the wsl tour considered the best in the world? I grew up as a skater and never really followed surfing. I never really considered the competition or 'tour' skaters to be the top guys, just the most consistent but you would rarely see a mind blowing video part from them. Is surfing similar to this or are the guys on tour the best of the best?
