How are French Snowsports Schools different?

I have an opportunity to move to Geneva, and was hoping to be able to teach in France in order to learn new ways of thinking about teaching snowboarding. Turns out you must go through their educational programming to do this, which takes at least two years AFAICT. French instructors on average, also seem to be better paid than anywhere else and don't have to pay an annual fee in order to maintain the wages they do have. It makes me wonder what is being done differently in France that allows these to be respectable careers rather than being shit on like everywhere else. I can't find a single educational body that supports their field and helps protect their workers rather than treating them like extraction sources, even if some orgs are better than others. I wonder if this is different in France. Does anyone have any experience with this?
