Yung Miami isn’t giving up on securing another collaboration with Drake , whose current Billboard charts dominance looks poised to continue for the foreseeable future .

During a recent interview with Cam Newton for the Auburn Tigers and Carolina Panthers alum’s Funky Friday podcast , Miami spoke at length about the impact the Iceman - Habibti - Maid of Honour artist had on her and JT during the City Girls era, with their involvement on the Scorpion track “In My Feelings” getting particular attention.

Per Miami, who this month netted her highest charting solo Hot 100 entry yet with “Spend Dat,” Drake is a “supportive” and “special” force in the music industry.

“He comes from a genuine space,” she said, citing his City Girls co-sign as the “breakthrough” moment for the now-defunct duo.
