Apple has announced a new 14-inch MacBook Pro with M6, promising better performance, stronger AI capabilities, enhanced connectivity, and the longest battery life in a Mac.
Apple debuted M6 , its first 2-nanometer process chip, in August. At the time, the M6 was only available in the updated Mac mini , a powerful, very compact desktop. The updated 14-inch MacBook Pro marks the M6’s debut in a notebook.

The M6 chip supports configurations up to 32GB of unified memory. Memory bandwidth has been increased to 170GB/s on the 24GB and 32GB configurations. The base model with 16GB of unified memory still has memory bandwidth of 153GB/s.
