The  60th edition of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival  ( KVIFF ) has unveiled its retrospective and heritage program. Out of the Past – KVIFF 60/80   will mark 60 editions and 80 years since the festival’s inception by presenting “pivotal films” from KVIFF’s history. And the Special Screenings – Classics section will feature a special program dedicated to the history of cinema. Highlights from the latter include the international premiere of the movie The Hanging of Stuart Cornfeld , a portrait of the independent producer and visionary Stuart Cornfeld ( The Elephant Man ,  Kafka , The Fly ), and The Killing of a Chinese Bookie , the latest Karlovy Vary screening of a movie directed by John Cassavetes. Meanwhile, KVIFF will screen Trainspotting and Sexy Beast in its Out of the Past program.…
