Just when you thought Stranger Things was over, it keeps creeping back from the Upside Down. First there was the “Conformity Gate” kerfluffle after the series finale that ended up being an elaborate delusion among dissatisfied fans. Then there was the making-of documentary that lifted the lid on the show’s high-pressure last episode. Then, last week, we got Tales From ’85 , the animated spin-off series set between Stranger Things ‘ second and third seasons, that added little interest beyond nostalgia for itself, some fresh plot holes, and a pretty great soundtrack .

To nobody’s surprise, it seems Netflix just can’t let go.…
