Listen up, birdverts : Birdbuddy just released some new video bird feeders, one of which is the cheapest the company has ever released. Check out the $100 Birdbuddy Nook (and a $160 solar version of the Nook) as well as the $220 Home.

The new devices replace the Birdbuddy Pro Solar, a product with similar specs but that went for a whopping $339. Each of the new cameras comes with 2K HDR cameras with a 135-degree field of view (up from 122 degrees on the Pro) and support for both landscape and portrait modes. If you’re not familiar with these gadgets, they’re what they sound like—birdfeeders with not-so-hidden cameras that automatically activate when a creature alights on their perches, giving you a more passive way to enjoy a little light avian voyeurism than your traditional intentional birding.
