Hi everyone
I have an opportunity to enter the finance field on a track that would have me becoming a Financial Advisor in just a few years
I don’t know much about the field, but I do know it’s hard work, and it’d be an entire lifestyle switch from what I have now.
Currently, I work 100% remote, which allows me to go to school (I re-enrolled in college classes), and teach Pilates. I love both of these things.
This new job would be 100% in office, and it would be a salary increase of 25k (if I meet the cap for fees I’m able to collect, so the range would be a salary increase of $0-$25,000)
I have a friend who went into real estate earlier this year after being laid off (was also in finance). They’ve made decent money, and love the work-life balance. They’ve encouraged me to pass on this offer and try my hand at real estate instead.
Does anyone have any similar experience?…
