If your app is distributed in France, Germany, Italy, Poland, or Romania, the App Tracking Transparency prompt your users see is changing — and the old one is no longer an option. Starting with iOS 27.2 and iPadOS 27.2, Apple requires the alternative expanded ATT prompt in those five countries; elsewhere in the EU it is optional, and outside the EU it has no effect.
