Apple today announced tvOS 27, the next major software version for Apple TV, as part of the WWDC keynote which included a bevy of platform-wide improvements. One major new feature for tvOS this year is an updated Podcasts app, as well as a new smart downloads feature, performance enhancements including faster app launch and Control Center loading, larger text size options for accessibility, and more. Unfortunately, Apple has not yet launched a tvOS 27 preview page, like it has done for its other operating systems.
