Hey all, I’m an weather nerd in Oklahoma and I just released Storm Sweep on the Microsoft Store. It’s a free weather workstation for Windows that decodes NOAA data locally on your PC instead of showing third-party images.

What’s in it:

Radar: Level II products at every tilt, up to 4 linked panels on one timeline, warning overlays, and archive replay back to June 2008

Storm 3D: rotatable 3D view of a radar volume with storm cells and cross sections

Satellite: GOES imagery, up to 25 products, looped and zoomable

Models: HRRR, RRFS, GFS, and ECMWF IFS, decoded from GRIB2

Forecast tools: Skew-T soundings, SPC outlooks, watches, surface analysis

Aviation, drone, and marine planning tools

NWS alerts with background notifications

Learn The Weather: 73 lessons across 9 levels, for people who want to understand what they’re looking at

Every feature is free. No ads, no sign-in, no trial. There’s an optional $5.99/yr supporter badge, but it unlocks nothing. US only for now.…
