Texas has banned a fan from attending future games at the Longhorns' stadium over obscene gestures he made toward Florida players after the Gators defeated Texas 27-24 this weekend.

A photojournalist at Fox station KTBC in Austin shared video that showed a fan on the field pointing his middle finger at players, alongside the caption: “Hated to see this after the game. Fans are frustrated but no need to run onto the field and do this.”

Texas athletic director Chris Del Conte announced the ban on Wednesday, writing, “I want to address the video circulating on social media showing unacceptable behavior by an individual who had the privilege of field access following Saturday’s game.”
