Do you plan a month at a time, or work week by week? A monthly plan seems easier to manage, but leaves less room for current topics. Which works better for you?

It depends on your industry but as a marketing company I do monthly. It would be a lot of bouncing around for me otherwise. If you have weekly specials or something that calls for a weekly schedule that makes sense, but monthly is much easier to manage as you said.

A couple of open slots in the monthly plan could leave room for current topics without rebuilding the whole schedule each week
