Per the Hollywood Reporter , the video game movie made $63 million worldwide, with $40 million of that coming from the domestic market. Internationally, its $23 million take can be owed to two things: it’s not out everywhere in the world yet, and it was overwhelmed by the one-two punch of The Devil Wears Prada 2 and Michael . Both of those have hit big overseas, and in Devil got an extra North American boost thanks to it being Mother’s Day. Warner Bros. already has threequel on the brain , but it’s anyone’s guess how the film ultimately does theatrically with two juggernauts currently out there.
