Hello Criterion. I’ve recently published a book about A24. What I found when writing is that Criterion comes up a lot! Many of the directors are Criterion fans, starting with Barry Jenkins who essentially incorporated the “film school in a box” education alongside his film school training. There’s also Criterion Closets and articles where filmmakers share their influences. Looking forward to more Criterion/A24 partnerships including the upcoming Mike Mills set.
