Colorado’s progressive Democratic Gov. Jared Polis has had plenty to say — none of it kind — about Amendment 87 ’s “progressive” $2.7 billion tax hike on the Nov. 3 ballot.
The governor, an extraordinarily successful internet entrepreneur before entering politics, is rightly viewed as having business savvy and sound insights on Colorado’s economy. And he has pointed out how the ballot proposal would amount to an economic gut punch to our state.

Now, another prominent Colorado Democrat has joined the fray on the same side as Polis, and he’s weighing in with a similar theme.
Ken Salazar , among the most widely known and well-regarded Colorado Democrats in decades, has been appearing in broadcast and social media spots opposing Amendment 87.
As reported by The Gazette, Salazar is featured standing at a construction site in a video posted to YouTube and aired on TV in both English and Spanish — urging voters to “vote no on 87.”
