Here is Apple’s official statement on iPhone Duo walk-in availability at Apple Stores

Last week when iPhone Duo pre-orders launched and almost instantly got backordered, many made plans to visit the Apple Store on October 23 in the hope of securing a walk-in purchase.

Today in a statement to 9to5Mac , Apple outlined what to expect from in-store stock around the world.

Here is Apple’s official statement:

“On Friday morning, our teams look forward to welcoming customers at Apple Stores to experience iPhone Duo and the incredible iPhone line-up for themselves. Apple Stores will have limited iPhone Duo available for walk-in customers, and we’re working hard to get this revolutionary new product into customers’ hands as quickly as possible.”
