I applied to a job end of August and thought my application was ignored. Two weeks later a hiring manager reached out instead of a recruiter and setup a screening call with me. They mentioned after the call that they have other candidates to talk to so I was expecting a long wait time but a day after they told me that they want to do a formal interview with me. Did the formal interview and at the end, they mentioned again that they just have a few more candidates to talk to and they are looking to make a decision quickly and I should know if I get the offer by end of next week. Had anyone experienced a quick timeline like this before? Or is this concerning
