Background: I have been following Sean Mullaney for quite a while now and have learned a lot. Just finished the book he did with Cody Garrett as well.

Situation: I (M) am 48, my wife is 50. We are preparing to FIRE within 4-5 years. I already am semi-FIRE'd as I left my job in January and am doing consulting work on the side (doing OK, income for 2026 will be about half of the previous year).

We met recently with Sean about taking us on as a client and had a great meeting. Basically if you hire him, you have a few meetings, review everything and then he comes up with a plan and recommendations. It is not an ongoing engagement but rather a 90-day process. Cost is $7,800.
