I’m looking for a wallet or card holder as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend, and I’d love some recommendations from people who know about those !

His style is very « classic », and he’s generally drawn to traditional brands with genuine heritage and craftsmanship rather than flashy luxury or big logos
I know he prefers smooth leather over grained leather.

I’m mainly looking for a bifold wallet or a slim bifold card holder, ideally in black or dark brown, with understated styling and excellent leather quality.

My budget is around €100–180, although I’d consider spending a little more for something genuinely special.

We are located in France by the way !

What brands or specific models would you recommend? And are there any makers I should look into on the second-hand or vintage market?
