Fat Joe says New York City subway riders are so wary of one another that even free Knicks merch wasn't enough to let their guard down. On Tuesday’s episode of the Joe and Jada podcast, the rapper shared an experience he had earlier this month in which he handed out Knicks merchandise on a subway train and came away convinced that many riders no longer trust the people around them. "Nobody trust nobody on the track," Fat Joe said, as seen in the clip linked above. "So I'm out there giving out free Knicks shit.” “They’re scared to take it,” co-host Jadakiss quipped. According to Fat Joe, even passengers who recognized him were reluctant to accept the giveaways. “The ladies know it's Fat Joe and they scared to [take it], they think I'mma smack 'em after I give him his shit,” he said.
