Tesla/SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, the brain genius behind last year’s disastrous DOGE cuts and the spiraling crises across government that resulted, has given over $445 million this election cycle backing Republicans ahead of the midterm elections on November 3.

Bloomberg reported that updated Federal Election Commission filings show Musk gave $158 million to the Senate Leadership Fund, the main GOP-aligned super PAC spending on Senate races, in September. Musk also dropped $77 million into his own America PAC in the first two weeks of October alone. America PAC has spent $33.1 million backing Ken Paxton, the far-right bigot and perpetually ethically challenged Texas attorney general running against Democrat James Talarico for Senate, and the Senate fund transferred all of Musk’s donation to Texas PAC, which has spent $181 million promoting Paxton since September 11.
