Yves here. I never in a million years thought I would ever say anything nice about AI. But the same way that AI has set out to destroy “creatives” and content-providers that make their living on selling intellectual property, so to are users of AI turning on the abusive, extortionate software vendors than have been turning the screws even tighter by moving aggressively away from even buying software licenses (which eventually do have to be re-purchased even in the old normal due to upgrades of the underlying operating system) to “licenses” that amount to ongoing tolling.
